Currently looking for a Trip Leader to assist in the club management requirments in the lead up to this trip. Trip Leader Volunteer Names to either Darren Williams or Roger Masters.
We will also need to have confirmed numbers attending by 12/04/2017 and how long they will be staying.

Location.
The WA4WDA Gathering at Chapman Valley Show Grounds 37km from Geraldton
Saturday 3rd – Sunday 4th – Monday 5th June 2017

FREE ENTRY – THIS IS YOUR CLUB INVITATION

Chapman Valley (Nanson) is approx 5 hours via Brand Highway(National Highway 1) or Indian Ocean Drive (State Route 60)

Gathering will be held at the Chapman Valley Show Grounds Nanson– there will be a WA4WDA Teardrop Flag at entrance along with a sign

This event is for all 4WD Clubs who are members of the Association and their visitors – it is not open to the general public – if you have visitors they are to abide by your Club Code of Ethics

Camping on site for Tents, Caravans and Swags
Cost of camping is $8 per person per night for powered or unpowered sites . Limited powered sites – there is water available but no direct connections to Caravans etc

Event is Saturday to Monday but you are able to access prior to Saturday – camping fees will apply $8 per person per night and you can arrive and stay as long as you like

There is no bar so it is all BYO

No camp fires in camping area – there will be one campfire organised by the Association

Unfortunately NO DOGS are permitted – we are in the middle of farming area and Council will not allow

Dump point at Fig Tree Crossing approx 18km towards Geraldton from the Show Grounds – no dump point on site

Generators will be allowed but conditions will apply – details will follow

Toilet block has 1 shower and 3 toilets for Females – 2 Toilets and Urinal and 1 shower for Men and there will also be four (4) portable toilets in the camping area and an additional two portable showers at toilet block

Saturday Activities
Delegates meeting 4pm Saturday afternoon – come and see how your Association runs
Bring your own cup/mug and some afternoon tea to share after the meeting
Tea, coffee, milk, sugar and hot water will be supplied

Mini Olympics 7pm – 9pm
Background Band 7.30 to 10.30pm – bring your tables and camp chairs to socialise and watch the Olympics or dance if you like
Bring your nibbles – and BYO drinks

Sunday Morning
Trips around the Geraldton area with Trip Leaders –
More info to follow – maximum of 15 vehicles per trip

Run 4. SUV Suitable

Quiz Night 6.30pm – 9.30pm – tables of 8 – send in your
interest as soon as possible – bring nibbles and BYO
Great prizes – you have to be in it to win

Monday Morning
Free Poets BBQ breakfast – bacon and egg burgers

Head home when you are ready
