Come along for a trip exploring the Captain Fawcett Track, from Nanga Brook to Quindanning, before heading across and camping on Saturday night at the Dryandra Woodlands DBCA campsites north of Williams.
We will meet in Waroona at 9am Saturday, at the carpark next to South West Hwy just north of the Visitor Information Centre. We will have time to wander across the road to the bakery to grab a coffee or pastry, before we wander up the scarp to the start of the Captain Fawcett Track itself. We will then explore the track to emerge near Quindanning in the afternoon. We will then make our way via the back roads to one of the campgrounds in the Dryandra Woodlands State Forest, off the York-Williams Road. There may be some exploration the Woodlands reserve area, depending on time and inclination.
On Sunday we will make our way back towards Perth, meandering via Dwellingup or Jarrahdale, depending on the groups preference.
There will be DBCA camping fees payable both for Park entry on Saturday and camping on Saturday night. Sites at these campsites are not bookable, so we have some flexibility where we end up.
No dogs due to DBCA restrictions.
See you all there.
